Terms of Service

1. Your account

• You must provide accurate information. Placi is passwordless — you sign in with Sign in with Apple or a one-time email code — so keep access to your email account and Apple ID secure.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for the members you invite to your household.
• You must be legally able to enter this agreement; child profiles must be created and managed by a responsible adult in the household.

2. Acceptable use

Don't misuse Placi: no illegal content, no attempts to breach security or access other households' data, no reverse-engineering, and no using the service to harm others. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

• You own the content you add (documents, records, photos, etc.). You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and sync it to provide the service.
• You're responsible for having the right to store the content you upload and for its accuracy.

4. Households & roles

Household owners/admins control membership, roles, and permissions. Members' access to shared content is governed by those roles. Removing a member or deleting a household removes access accordingly.

5. Subscriptions

Placi offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Only the person who creates a household (the "owner") subscribes; members they invite use Placi for free.

• Plans: Monthly (AED 24.99) and Annual (AED 199.99), each including a 14-day free trial. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the App Store at purchase.
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Free trial: Your trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Manage / cancel: Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Placi reliable but provide it "as is" without warranties. Features may change, and offline data syncs when a connection is available.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Placi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data beyond our reasonable control. Keep your own copies of critical documents.

8. Termination

You may stop using Placi and delete your account at any time (More → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. We'll note the "last updated" date and surface material changes.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, unless your local law requires otherwise.
